Perhaps one of the largest overlooked expenses in the autobody business is the need for additional hardware. Most technical repairs require the occasional trip to the hardware drawer to get a couple of clips, fasteners or bolts. Those items can be invoiced using an EagleMMS QR code, instead of that becoming overlooked unreported overhead, it can now be a small contribution to your bottom line. Hardware components can be broken into groups that get billed by a single tag, or have a tag for each and every different piece of hardware.

You may also have a standard flat fee for all extra hardware used at your own discretion, 2$ per fastener/clip/bolt/nut is what is recommended by our internal licensed appraisers. If the need arises for additional verification as to which hardware was used technicians may also feel free to describe what was used in the tech notes section of the scan out. This entry will also appear in the invoice.
